Garden Planning

Garden Planning: Each one of us is a gardener at heart, whether we do it as a hobby, practicality or even to have your very own local organic store. Whatever the reason, it all starts with planning our garden beds. Whether it be the raised or the in-ground garden bed, we have to consider a few factors before we start.

The first is space and location, for this will greatly affect the type of garden bed most suitable for you. After all, if we can’t avoid living in an urban jungle where gardening urban soil can be difficult, then a raised garden bed may be an appropriate choice. Another consideration is the amount of time you are willing to dedicate to your plants. Both types of garden beds require love and affection, but they also have considerable differences in the amount of maintenance they require. Irrigation and water are also important to consider because raised beds have better irrigation but will require more watering than the in-ground beds that can keep the soil moist for longer because of less irrigation.

These factors are just some of the things that have to be taken into account when planning a garden bed for your home, but don’t let it discourage you. On the bright side, you can always call on your local Fox Mowing gardener to help you decide what to do and when the perfect time to start your project is.
